interior WallpaperingVictorian Hallway Decorating

Victorian Hallway Decorating project was completed in January 2016.
The walls were stripped of the original Wallpaper, filled and sealed then cross lined using 1200 grade lining paper followed by a base coat then 2 coats of Little Greene Intelligent Matt Emulsion.
The Woodwork was finished in Little Greene Intelligent Eggshell the same colour as the walls, Hi White.
The Wallpaper is also from Little Greene.

Materials Used

Ceilings Dulux Vinyl Matt White.
Woodwork Little Greene Intelligent Eggshell Hi White.
Walls Dulux 1200 Grade Lining Paper Little Greene Intelligent Emulsion Hi White.
Dado Little Greene Wallpaper (Carlisle Street).
Cost > £2000.

interiorPainted Fitted Units

These Painted Fitted Units were custom made using MDF, they were primed and then finished with 2 Coats of Dulux Diamond Eggshell.

interiorCottage Dining Room & Fire Surround Renovation

This Cottage Dining Room was stripped of wallpaper then cross lined to give a smooth new plastered look.
The feature fireplace had previously been painted and over the years had many layers of paint which were hiding the classic features of the metal surround, the old paint was removed and finished using a Matt Black metal paint to give a more traditional original look.

The woodwork was finished in Bedec Aqua Advanced Satin which offers a soft look and has the advantage of non yellowing.

Walls Dulux Vinyl Matt Pure Brilliant White.
Woodwork Bedec Satin Aqua Advance Brilliant White.
Fire Surround Matt Black Metal Paint.

exteriorEntrance & Stonework Renovation

The Entrance & Stonework Renovation and Painting was undertaken in summer 2015, the Stonework was badly weathered and friable, the thick build up of paint was removed and repaired, the sign work was also removed and re written in a complimentary style in keeping with the original.

The Door and Door-frame had many years of paint build up which was removed and allowed the true shape of the wood mouldings to show through, they were then finished in Sikkens Satura Plus, this is a self levelling paint that offers an extremely smooth and high gloss finish.

Photowall Wallpaper feature walls make a great statement to any room.The black and white picture is of the Brooklyn Bridge from www.photowall.co.uk its a premium print on a premium paste the wall paper supplied in pre cut lengths, the coloured mural of the football stadium is a cheaper alternative available on eBay and amazon which comes in pre cut very wide lengths and is hung as traditional wallpaper.
